Last updated 11 August 2026. These terms govern your use of Healthcare App Development Cost Calculators. The most important one, if you read nothing else: an estimate produced here is a planning figure, not a quote, not an offer, and not a contract.

1. Acceptance

By accessing or using this website you agree to these terms. If you do not agree with them, please do not use the site. If you are using the site on behalf of an organisation, you confirm you have authority to accept these terms for that organisation.

2. What this site is

This site provides free, interactive cost calculators for healthcare software projects. Each calculator applies a published formula — base cost by scope tier, feature adders, fixed compliance and integration costs, and multipliers for platform, design depth and team location — to the selections you make. The formula and its multipliers are set out on the homepage.

3. Estimates are not quotes or offers

Every figure on this site is a directional estimate shown as a range of roughly ±15–20%. It does not constitute a quote, a proposal, an offer capable of acceptance, a fixed price, or any commitment to perform work at a stated cost. No contract is formed by using a calculator or by relying on its output.

A binding price for actual work is produced only through a written, signed agreement following a scoping process. Published sprint and package prices on our contact page are indicative starting points and are subject to change, to scope, and to a mutually executed contract.

4. No professional advice and no engagement

Content on this site — including references to HIPAA, SOC 2, HITRUST, GDPR, FDA pathways, HL7 and FHIR — is provided for general information and budgeting purposes only. It is not legal, regulatory, compliance, accounting, tax, investment or medical advice, and it is not a substitute for advice from a qualified professional who knows your circumstances. Nothing here certifies that any system, vendor or programme is compliant with any law or standard.

5. Accuracy and availability

We maintain these calculators in good faith and review the underlying figures against delivered project data. Even so, the content is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including any implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or non-infringement.

Third-party costs referenced here — auditor and assessor fees, cloud infrastructure, licence and network fees — are market ranges set by other parties and change without notice. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any estimate will match a price you are ultimately offered by us or by anyone else.

6. Intellectual property

The text, calculator configurations, cost model, design and code of this site are owned by Taction Software LLC (USA) or its licensors and are protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. Taction Software® is a registered trademark of Taction Software LLC (USA).

You may use the site for your own internal business purposes, including generating estimates and quoting figures in internal documents such as budgets and board materials, provided you attribute them to this site and do not present them as a quote from us. You may not copy, scrape, republish, resell or redistribute substantial portions of the site or the cost model, or create a derivative calculator from it, without our prior written permission.

Third-party names appearing on this site — including Epic, Oracle Health, Cerner, athenahealth, eClinicalWorks, Allscripts, Veradigm, Surescripts, Twilio, Salesforce, AWS, Microsoft Azure, Google Cloud, OpenAI, Anthropic, Meta, Mistral AI, HL7 and HITRUST — are the trademarks of their respective owners and are used for identification and descriptive purposes only. Their use does not imply any affiliation with, sponsorship by, endorsement by, or partnership with those parties.

7. Acceptable use

  • Do not attempt to gain unauthorised access to the site, its hosting infrastructure or any connected system.
  • Do not use automated means to place unreasonable load on the site, or to systematically harvest its content at scale.
  • Do not misrepresent an estimate generated here as a formal quote, proposal or price commitment from Taction Software Solutions.
  • Do not use the site for any unlawful purpose or in breach of these terms.

8. Third-party links

The site links to a small number of external pages. Those links are provided for convenience and reference. We do not control and are not responsible for the content, accuracy, security or privacy practices of any external site.

9. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Taction Software LLC (USA), its affiliates, officers, employees and agents will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive damages, or for any loss of profit, revenue, data, goodwill or business opportunity, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or reliance on, this site or any estimate generated by it — even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

Budget decisions, investment decisions, vendor selections, contractual commitments and regulatory strategy remain your responsibility. Nothing in these terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

10. Changes

We may update these terms, the calculators, the underlying cost model or any published pricing at any time. Changes take effect when posted, and the “last updated” date above will reflect them. Continuing to use the site after a change means you accept the revised terms.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the United States and of the state in which Taction Software LLC (USA) is organised, without regard to conflict-of-laws principles, and the courts of that jurisdiction will have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
