Disclaimer
Last updated 11 August 2026. The 21 calculators on this site are budgeting tools. They are designed to give you a defensible range to plan against — not a price, and not professional advice.
An estimate here is not a quote. It is a directional figure with an explicit ±15–20% band, generated by a published formula from the options you selected. It creates no offer, no price commitment and no contract.
What the numbers are
Each calculator combines a base cost for the scope tier you picked with the feature, compliance and integration adders you ticked, then applies multipliers for platform, design depth and team location. The baselines derive from delivered healthcare software projects at blended US-onshore rates of roughly $150–$200 per hour. The formula and the multipliers that drive it are set out on the homepage.
What the numbers are not
- Not a quote or an offer. A binding price comes only from a written, signed agreement after a scoping process.
- Not a guarantee of cost or schedule. Real projects move on requirements you have not discovered yet, integration counterparties who control their own timelines, and decisions that take longer than planned.
- Not a market survey. These are our delivery economics. Another vendor may quote materially more or less for the same brief, and a lower quote is not necessarily comparable scope.
- Not complete. Estimates exclude content and clinical material, third-party licences and subscriptions, cloud infrastructure, external auditor and assessor fees, regulatory filing fees, and ongoing maintenance. Each exclusion is itemised on the homepage.
Not legal, regulatory or compliance advice
This site references HIPAA (including §164.308, §164.310 and §164.312), SOC 2, HITRUST, GDPR, FDA Software as a Medical Device pathways including 510(k), cybersecurity expectations under section 524B, IEC 62304, HL7 v2, FHIR R4 and CPT codes such as 99453, 99457 and 99490. Those references are descriptive, included so you can recognise the work a budget line represents.
They are not legal or regulatory advice, not a compliance assessment, and not a certification that any system, programme or vendor — including ours — satisfies any statute, rule or standard. Regulations change, enforcement positions change, and how a rule applies depends entirely on your organisation, your data flows and your risk posture. Engage qualified counsel, a qualified security assessor and, where relevant, regulatory affairs specialists.
Not medical or clinical advice
Nothing on this site is medical advice, clinical guidance or a statement about patient safety for any product. Where we describe clinical features — triage, e-prescribing, risk models, ambient documentation — we are describing engineering scope and its cost, not endorsing a clinical approach. Clinical safety, validation and human factors work is the responsibility of the organisation deploying the software and its qualified clinical staff.
AI-related content
The AI calculator and related content reflect our standing position: AI assists, humans decide. Cost figures for AI features assume human-in-the-loop workflows and an evaluation harness, not autonomous clinical decision-making. We make no representation that any model, provider or architecture named on this site is appropriate for your use case, and naming a provider is not an endorsement or an assurance of its regulatory or contractual status.
Third-party pricing and names
Figures attributed to third parties — auditor fees, assessor fees, per-seat licence costs, cloud costs, per-minute video rates, drug database subscriptions — are market ranges observed at the time of writing. They are set by those parties, not by us, and change without notice. Verify them directly before relying on them. All third-party names are trademarks of their owners, used for identification only, and their appearance implies no affiliation or endorsement.
No relationship created
Using this site does not create a client, consulting, advisory or fiduciary relationship with Taction Software Solutions or Taction Software LLC (USA). No confidential information should be sent to us on the assumption that such a relationship exists.
Independent verification
Before you commit budget, sign a contract, raise capital against a figure or present one to a board, validate it independently — through a scoping exercise, competitive quotes, or your own delivery data. If a number here does not match what you are being quoted, we would like to know: tell us via the contact page and we will either correct it or document the assumption that explains the gap.
